The mess that has been 2016 is almost over. In anticipation of the New Year and all that it brings, I’ll be posting a picture of a car every day at 5 pm EST to count down the days until 2017 arrives. Feel free to post cars that follow the theme in the comments!
With one day to go until the New Year, today’s theme is One. My choice for today is a BMW M1. Yours can be anything related to the number one, whether that relation is the model name, generation, cylinder count, or whatever other excuse you can find to post your car.

M1 Combat Car: Fun fact- The U.S Cavalry were prohibited from having tanks of their own in 1920. To get around this they switched out the turret and called them Combat Cars until the ban was lifted.
This last one belongs to the 13th Cavalry Regiment, the unit I was in much, much later. The others are part of the 1st Cavalry Regiment.
Together they formed the 7th Cavalry Brigade Mechanized which would become the 1st Armored Division in 1940.
