It was previewed with the Ferrari Sergio and seems to be continued into the Ferrari J50. Now I’m looking at that Oldsmobile Concept and thinking, “Hey, that’s a next generation Ferrari Wagon!” But Oldsmobiles aside, I really like this design direction and can’t wait to see all Ferraris take it on.

I like the J50 a lot; I think if they tone the fiddly bits down they’ll have a winning design.

It looks, I don’t know, generic. Doesn’t really look like a Ferrari. Or like much of anything.

Probably more facelifty versions of today’s things with more KERS and possibly AWD

I like it. It seems to be going away from the busy, angry look that Ferraris and many other cars of late have and back to a more sleek and simple design.

They’re looking more like a Luigi Colani design

It’s ok to do the same thing as everyone else, only better. The 330 GTS wasn’t a groundbreaking design but was no less perfect. The wedge-era 288, 308, Testarossa and F40 weren’t all that cutting edge, but were still awesome. Nothing wrong with doing a McLaren only better....
Now if only they’ll build that wagon.... and sell it with one less zero....

You hit the nail on the head. Bland, generic styling that looks like a GM design study of the mid 90s. except someone gave an art student a wood gouge and said “make vents”. Personally not a fan. I am based though as I don’t think Ferrari has made an attractive car since the F50

All the best looking Ferraris imo don’t overdo it.
Take the Touring F12, they toned down the lines to make them flow better instead making it too busy. I think Ferrari’s new direction will work if they don’t go too over the top. Beauty is balance, after all.

I actually love that Oldsmobile. It reminds me of this car from GTA IV.

I personally love it. It somehow achieves the “soft yet aggressive” look. Kind of like an angry kitten.
